Bagels & Co. Franchise Expands to Georgia

On June 22, Bagels & Co. officially signed a retail lease with Rambler Athens. Beginning fall 2026, Bagels & Co. will reside on the ground floor of Rambler Athens located on West Broad Street.

Already operating in Pennsylvania and Florida, Bagels & Co. offers a modern take on both breakfast and lunch, including bagels, sandwiches and La Colombe coffee. The menu will also include seasonal bagel flavors, as well as a variety of schmears including lox, chipotle and jalapeño cheddar.

According to a press release, the Bagels & Co. space provides both indoor and outdoor seating. In addition to cafe seating, Bagels & Co. will offer online ordering and a grab-and-go option.

Bagels & Co. will join Daydreamer, a coffee shop known for its handcrafted espresso drinks, and other businesses at Rambler Athens.

The lease marks the restaurant's first location in Georgia. Bagels & Co. CEO Kevin Armantrout said he was excited for this expansion.

"The residents of their Athens property, as well as the members of the University of Georgia community and surrounding neighborhoods, make this the perfect spot for a built-in audience looking for bagels, coffee and sandwiches," Armantrout said.
